This has been an extremely effective marketing campaign for the past three years and we are repeating it again this year.

  The flyer will be promoted using the following methods:
  **  Promotion on Facebook during the month of February 2017 via the National Black Book Festival's Facebook fan page and Twitter feeds with over 78,000 fans

  ** Promotion via e-blasts during the second week of February 2017 to 1,000+ African-American book clubs, 300+ media reps, 100+ bookstores, 100+ libraries and 100+ book reviewers

  PLUS:  All authors included in the flyer will receive a JPG image and a PDF so they can place it on their web sites and/or share the flyer with their friends, family and business associates.

  PLUS BONUS: Each author will receive an individual Facebook post on the National Black Book Festival's Facebook page during the month of February. Access NBBF's Facebook page here

  Photos will be inserted on a first-come, first-serve basis in the order in which authors sign up.  There are a few remaining slots available and the deadline is Feb. 6, 2017.  The cost to participate as a featured author on the Black History Month flyer is ONLY $49.00.  To take advantage of this special offer take the following two steps:

  STEP 1:  Pay your author promotion fee of $49.00 for the flyer.

  STEP 2:  AFTER paying your fee, forward your photo (JPG or GIF) for the flyer to the following e-mail address with the subject "Black History Month Promotion Photo":  grichardson@cushcity.com.

  You will receive a draft of the flyer before it is distributed to ensure that your name is spelled correctly and the photo is properly placed.  Once approved, all authors will receive a copy of the flyer.
