AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT Barry S. McLeod, Lord, Did You Push the Pause Button On Me?
This ‘hot off the press’ 100% true nonfiction book chronicles the last several years of Barry S. McLeod’s life where he went from being a nightclub owner to working diligently for the Lord. In the process of success, adversity took away most of his assets and nearly destroyed his spirit. Depression, anger and bitterness corroded his soul causing him to feel alone all the time. “I literally felt like a ‘functioning zombie’ right before everyone’s eyes. Most people never knew that I was having the difficulty I was, but I felt embarrassed nevertheless” Barry says. In the process of fighting back, Barry turned toward God and the church. In fact, many future Christians will not be like the traditional ones. Things are going to change for the better when more human ‘control’ is out of the factor – as it pertains to one’s salvation. God reaches people where they are! We don’t have to go to a specific place to find Him.
