Calendar The acclaimed photojournalist Margaret Courtney-Clarke has observed that "The unique artistic traditions of women in Africa are vanishing, just as the cultures that gave birth to them are vanishing." Courtney-Clark's contribution to history has been to capture images of these traditions and ensure that they are preserved.
