About the Book
When you are in love, nothing else
seems to matter. For three best friends, falling in love was not an easy
thing to do. Despite their personal struggles, Natasha Inglewood, Dianne
Marshall, and Lynda Davis, have all found the kind of love they always
desired. Natasha, a hard-working, single mother gets a second chance at love
after the tragic loss of her only child; Dianne, learning that love at first
sight is real, is happily married until she becomes the stepmother of a
child she didn’t know existed; and Lynda finally realizes that she can focus
and love only one man, until her “love them and leave them” ways catch up
with her.
As Natasha struggles to cope
with the tragic loss of her only daughter, Tyrone is there to comfort her in
more ways than one. Although they hadn’t seen each other for over ten years
before their daughter’s death, Natasha and Tyrone establish a bond so strong
that neither one of them is sure they are ready for. Natasha loves having
Tyrone back in her life and feels she has a second chance at love, but she
didn’t expect to deal with his ex-wife who is willing to fight to get him
back.
When Dianne met Nelson Thompson, it was love at first sight. After what
seemingly started out as a one-night stand, Dianne marries her soul mate,
Nelson. Just as their marriage becomes hot and steamy as ever, Nelson
discovers he is the father of an eleven year old little girl. After learning
that his daughter’s mother is dying of leukemia, other painful truths are
soon discovered. This situation has brought some painful memories to the
surface that Dianne had suppressed for so many years. This will be a true
test of “til death do us part.”
Lynda has pretty much given up on relationships although she has plenty of
men in her life to keep her busy—sexually that is. After a series of
loveless relationships, her faith in true love is restored when she meets
Zion Jones. Although Lynda’s past sexual history presents a challenge for
Zion, their relationship develops into a wild love affair that keeps them
both yearning for more. Lynda can’t get enough of Zion and decides to make
him her only lover. However, Lynda has broken one too many hearts and not
all egos can handle that.
If you still believe in love, this emotional story is for you. When I’m
Loving You is a sassy, erotic, love story touched by death, abuse, and
violence that many of us have encountered in our own lives. The question is,
how do you manage love in the midst of it all? |
