Bullet Proof Soul

For entertainment reporter, Lacy Foxx, the humor and horror of being a young, black female who is single and searching (but in denial about it) is all too real. She's been stuck on stupid a while-repeating the same mistakes over and over again. But she's had it with being a target. She's tired of feeling like everyone's gunning for her; out to get her. That includes Wynnton Trust (Mr. T.), a charismatic, less-than forthright entrepreneur who volunteers with her at the local Youth Center. It also includes her ex-financee. She also struggles with the death of close family members, best friend woes, family interference disguised as a caring concern, and an employment search and job responsibilities that take her around the world. But, when Lacy's never-before-married grandmother beats her down the aisle to wedded matrimony, Lacy finds herself at a true turning point--questioning everything. She known there are several roads to happiness, but they all come with a price, and ultimately she has to decide how steep a price she's willing to pay. Will she turn back to a life and love that left her unsatisfied? Will she take a chance and turn to a life and love that could lead to headache, heartache and regret? Or will she turn to those who truly care for her...learn to embrace her indestructible spirit...her bulletproof soul...and as a result truly turn around her life?
