this Print Image Size 18" x 28" Offset Lithograph About the Artist Bernard Stanley Hoyes internationally acclaimed visual artist from Jamaica currently resides in Los Angeles, California. He divides his time creating art in Los Angeles and in Kingston where he also maintains a studio. His career began at an early age in Kingston. His talents were nurtured at the Institute of Jamaica Junior Art Center. At fifteen he migrated to New York City to continue his academic and artist endeavours. He received a Ford Foundation Scholarship to live and study with professional artists in a summer arts program sponsored by the Arts Students League of New York at Vermont Academy, Saxton River, Vermont. Thereafter he came to California College of Art and Crafts in Oakland and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Painting and Design.
